This checklist and tips aren’t just for your home, but it’s a little mix between cleaning your home, specific household items, and your life. Everyone needs a little Spring Cleaning right?!
#1 DEGUNK YOUR DEVICES!

Follow These Tips For The Best Results:
- Unplug
- Remove and/or Change Batteries
- Never Spay any Liquid Cleaner directly on Device
- If you use wipes, wring out excess liquid before use
- If you’re ever unsure, Check the User’s Manual
I’m talking like “Get the Duster Out”, get in all the cracks of your most used devices. Trust me they will thank you, and a lot of us probably don’t maintain the “always“ clean tech. Nows the perfect time! New Season, New Start…to EVERYTHING!
#2 New Start To Our Living
It‘s time to think about furthering OURSELVES! We all deserve it! Take the time in figuring out You! How you’ve been living your life. How you want to change it. For Your kids. For Your significant other. For Your family or friends. For YOU. Think of it as a New Year’s Resolution.

I know this change in weather has me feeling a certain way (leaving the allergies out of it..for now), but like today, it’s been Sunny and a high of 73. The Perfect Weather! I got to sit outside and actually sit in complete peace, I went on a walk, AND I was actually happy about cleaning my home!
This is Something for you to get the wheels turning and reflect on. What are you going to Change? If you can’t think of anything…right now, follow my list and try out this Challenge:
- Get Organized in your pantry with Clear Containers! It‘s a brilliant way to keep track on quantity, and quality of your pantry items…and do a massive CLEAN OUT..Fridge Includedin clean out!
- Start a Budget For Everything! Planning a Family Vacation? There’s a budget for that. Trying to Save Money? There’s a budget for that. You get my point…and my point is when you feel like you’re money is where it‘s suppose to be or being spent more wisely, then everyone’s happier..in my opinion.
- SHOP FOR THE SPACE YOU HAVE, not for the space you want. The point of your Spring Cleaning is to declutter not add a Wish List..plus the lesson of Getting right with yourself and being grateful for what you have and such. If you do choose to splurge, do it on the things YOU LOVE!
- Build some Maintenance into your routine. Don‘t just deep clean once a year. Try for twice a month..or whatever fits your family’s schedule. Make a game out of it or include an incentive for the kids to put a full effort in Helping. Add a workout into your routine to better You and Your health. That could be an opportunity for the other parent or give you some alone time or even a chance to get out of the house. Maintain your ideas! Try my Challenge: Lose The Bump!
- Change All The Batterie! Pretty self explanatory…Put in the full effect of Start New
- Check On Your Loved Ones! They need to get out of the Winter Blues!
#3 Enjoy A Closet Upgrade
The fun and struggle is Planning such event. That’s why you need a budget! Have a Budget for each family member. Now every good has a bad…so the struggle is having your children cooperate long enough to try on clothes to see if they still fit. That could be fun too depending how you look at it. My daughter loves dress up, so she’s all about it, but I have to come up with a fun way to do it. •Pro Tip: Streamline their clothes! Meaning stick to Gender Neutrals which in turn = Less decision making = less laundry = ultimately less stress!

Now for us moms, that probably haven’t had a change in wardrobe since Damn near grade school…This is our “mostly likely, once in a blue moon” time to shine, so this is where we yell to the Heavens “TREAT YO SELF!”
#4 Add A New Food To Your Diet

I can’t be the only only trying new foods, so whether you choose to add something Healthy or an indulgent…THAT IS COMPLETELY UP TO YOU
#5 IT’S TIME TO LET GO…OF THE OLD STUFF!

This is hard for the Hoarders of the world, but it’s like when we were children and had to eat our vegetable…just pinch your nose and chew fast! ..Same concept. You’ll feel Brand New afterwards.
To help, here’s a list of random items you can give up:
- Random Cords
- Hotel or other random toiletries
- Your old Socks and Undies
- Unused dishes collecting dust
- Old Textbooks
- The Containers missing their lids and vice versa
- The Stinky Sneakers
- Unused CDs, DVDs, VHS Tapes
- For the love of God…Get rid of the Old Craft Supplies
I hope this Checklist gets you started on Your “bigger picture” Spring Cleaning! Remember, We’re in this Battle of Parenthood together!
